Cuba Libre in The Quarter in Tropicana Casino & Resort will celebrate its signature cocktail, the mojito, on National Mojito Day – Tuesday, July 11 – with $5 Classic Mojitos available all night at the bar beginning at 4 p.m.!
The cocktail, made famous by Ernest Hemingway and made best by Cuba Libre, is made with hand-pressed sugarcane (called guarapo), fresh lime juice, mint, Cuba Libre’s own white rum, and a splash of soda.
The $5 mojito special will be available at the bar beginning at 4 p.m., where the full a la carte dinner menu is also offered. The brand new menu features Cuba Libre’s new shareable entrees for two, traditional Cuban appetizers and entrees, grilled meats and seafood, and many more new dishes by Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot. The Mojito Day celebration will also take place at Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m., where the $5 mojitos can be paired with $6 tapas bites.
