Add a ‘Side of Hope’ for Children of Restaurant Employees in June!
POSTED IN | Food & Drink   06.01.23
UPDATE: Thank you so much for your generous support - we raised $1486 for CORE! Dine with us in June to help us raise funds for CORE (Children of Restaurant Employees) - a non-profit organization that supports food and beverage service families navigating life-altering circumstances! Throughout the month, you can choose to add a $2, $5, or $10 “Side of Hope” donation for CORE to your dining check.

Join us at Cuba Libre from June 1-30, and help us support CORE’s mission of providing financial relief to food and beverage service employees with children when either the parent, child or spouse faces a health crisis, injury, death or natural disaster. Before closing out your dining check, you’ll have the option to “add a Side of Hope” to support CORE - an organization doing wonderful things for food/beverage service employees and their families. All donation proceeds go directly to CORE (less credit card processing fees).

Make your summer reservation now and enjoy an escape to “Havana” while supporting a great cause! We can’t wait to see you.

Why support CORE? CORE is a national 501(c)3 founded by industry veterans that is dedicated to serving food and beverage service employees with children when either the employee, child or spouse faces a medical crisis, illness, injury, a death or otherwise impacted by a natural disaster. In times of extreme strain brought on by a tragedy, illness or other hardship, food and beverage families can become overwhelmed financially and emotionally. During these hardships, dependent children are often the most vulnerable - and that’s when CORE steps in to help. Industry organizations and individual donors provide financial funding to help these families. Since 2004, the organization has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit that has helped more than 1,600 families in 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico. CORE provides help in the form of a financial grant to help cover rent/mortgage, utilities, medical supplies, funds for basic necessities. Each grant is unique and based on the specific need of each applicant. An employee that may qualify for a grant can apply online or be referred.
