Our favorite foodie holiday is almost here! 

Cuba Libre is hosting its annual $1 Empanada Happy Hour in celebration of National Empanada Day on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Pointe Orlando on International Drive.

For 2 hours, Cuba Libre will offer Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot's signature Mamá Amelia's Empanadas, including chicken, beef picadillo, pulled pork and vegetarian, for just $1 each at the bar, plus the restaurant's Happy Hour drink specials including $5 mojitos and caipirinhas, $4 sangria, red/white sangria, and beer.  

The $1 empanada specials include:

•Del Campo: Pulled pork, roasted poblano, charred tomatoes

•Picadillo: Ground beef, Manzanilla olives and raisins

•De la Casa: Hand chopped chicken, corn and Jack cheese

•Del Jardín: Grilled artichoke hearts, salt cured tomatoes, feta cheese
