Cuba Libre's two-time James Beard Award-winning Chef-Partner Guillermo Pernot will host the VIP Reception at the James Beard Foundation's Taste America national culinary tour, coming to Philadelphia on October 13. Chef Pernot will prepare one of his signature award-winning dishes for VIP attendees, and tickets for the event, and VIP reception, are now available for purchase.
The evening will begin with a reception filled with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from local chefs and restaurateurs, including Scott Anderson, Nicholas Elmi, Richard Landau, Camille Cogswell and Nate Horwitz, followed by an extraordinary one-night-only dinner prepared by Taste America All-Star Marc Murphy along with Local Star Greg Vernick, pastry chef Pat O’Malley and host chef Jean-Marie Lacroix of Brûlée Catering.
