NEW! NUEVO! Chef Pernot Returns from Cuba with New Menu Items to Share - Available now!
POSTED IN | Food & Drink   11.05.15
New tapas, entrees and cocktails inspired by Chef Pernot's recent culinary excursion to Cuba.

As the season changes so does our menu. This fall we’ve introduced a few new must try items - available NOW at Cuba Libre in Penn Quarter, Washington DC.

Our delectable Crab and Corn Tamal has been added to the appetizer menu: jumbo lump crabmeat, smoked corn crema and corn-truffle salpicón. It’s the perfect start to any meal, and available for just $11 during dinner daily beginning at 4 p.m.

Chef Pernot created the new Citrus Chicken after cooking and learning with local chefs in Havana. This entree is a pan roasted marinated semi-boneless double chicken breast. Plantain fufu, black bean sauce and chipotle allioli.

Our cocktail menu has also been given a generous update. With six new additions to our drink menu there is something delicious for everyone’s taste.

We’ve taken our classic crowd favorite Mojito and given it a twist.  The Puerta Muerta Mojito is a treat for our whiskey lovers, featuring Death’s Door White Whiskey muddled cherry and orange.

For those who enjoy Margaritas our new Mango Maragrita will hit the spot. The new drink is made with Patron silver tequila, Patron Citronge Mango Liqueur, Mango-puree and lime juice.

With so many new items to try we look forward to seeing you soon! Our full menu can be found here. Call 202-408-1600 or make a reservation via OpenTable!
